Meet the instructors:

Heather Edwards, PT, CSC-SIT, CSE

Heather is a pelvic physical therapist and certified by the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists as a Sex Counselor and Sex Educator. 
Heather is the founder of Vino & Vulvas which is a monthly event that creates a space for education, curiosity, and pushing the conversation of sex past limits of heteronormativity, gender binary, white-normativity, and vanilla-normativity. V&V collaborates with pelvic health specialists, sex therapists, sex educators, and counselors who will be having panel discussions with time for questions on a plethora of topics centered around sexual wellbeing.
Heather also is the author of nonbinary crotch art coloring book series and teaches for Pelvic Guru on the topics of LGBTQIA inclusive sexuality counseling for medical providers.

Uchenna "UC" Ossai, PT, DPT, WCS, CSC-SIT

Dr. Uchenna “UC” Ossai PT, DPT, WCS, CLT is assistant professor at University of Utah College of Health’s Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. Dr. Ossai also served in the role as assistant professor at the University of Texas Dell Medical School (Austin, TX) in the Departments of Women’s Health from 2017 to 2022. Dr. Ossai received her clinical doctorate in physical therapy at University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her residency in Women's Health and Movement Impairment Science at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Ossai is an American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) certified Sexuality Counselor, and serves in the role as adjunct faculty at the University of Michigan School of Social Work Sexual Health Certification Program. Her clinical and research interests include sexual function in marginalized populations, particularly among Black women and LGBTQIA+ communities.

Dr. Ossai is also creator/founder of YouSeeLogic, a sexual health platform for adults rooted in an intersectional and social justice framework that focuses on improving sexual joy, pleasure, and autonomy through innovative education and community building.
